UNCERTAIN ENVIRONMENT

This record relates to a very introspective violent time. Violence to most people comes across as merely aggression, but this particular violent behavior for me personally has never been about aggression. It was more about a tremendously sad inner monologue, that seemed to never find relief anywhere. There could be fits of pure violent phases with strong hatred in them. But no matter in what form they came they always carried out the saddest and loneliest of feelings at the end of these fits.

A completely introspective travel of ridding yourself of the powerless inside us and the withheld volatility that has no place in common human interaction. Which adds another layer to its volatile nature and the loneliness that comes with it, because it's a spectrum always misunderstood and even less explored for the good of our being. We tend to think it has to be tempered, for peace' sake, instead of seeing it as an emotional AND physical reaction that every now and then you need to attend to. Like realizing your breathing has been faulty for quite a while and is in need of physical correction and release.

This is why a lot on the record sounds obnoxious or seemingly has 'no point', but if you stick around long enough you'll find very fragile and broken down parts of what appear to be a reflective, heroine-like frame of mind. While in reality it is an aftermath. It's recuperating from the beating you took. Violent behavior, introspective or not, it never comes cheap. It's exhausting, which seems to be a good term for this record.

Now, I'm not sure a lot of people can even relate. In all honesty it's not the easiest record to get through. There are no handles, there are no conventions as to songwriting. Just a pure barrage of abrasive and honest expression. But if you listen attentively you'll hear pockets of melodies telling more than just violent behavior.
